Deforestation means permanent devastation of natural forests. According to a survey, by the year 2030, we might only have 10% of our forests left and if we don’t stop cutting down our forests, they could all be gone in 100 years. Deforestation is a major global problem to the society and environment. It is an indication of end of life on this planet. Thousands of species have already extinct due to cutting of forests.
Most natural disasters, be it floods, landslides and even weather extremities are a consequence of the fats depletion of forest cover.
We all need to understand, if there will be no trees, there will be no life on this planet. Forests play great role in balancing the human life and environmental cycle and by cutting them we are endangering our own existence. Plant more and more trees and just don’t let even a single tree to cut. Kids must be taught the importance of ecological balance and how to preserve it.
Join our unique initiative “Sanskarshala” and contribute your pledge to stop deforestation. Through Sanskarshala, we will teach thousands of students in different schools across nation-wide about the importance of forests and how we should preserve them.
